Say 'thank you' with a custom cover.

Merci chocolate gives you the freedom to create a personalized product cover everyday, but these days felt different. There was an opportunity to empathize and emotionally connect with our consumers during anxious, tough times.

The problem.

With such limited ways to show love and say "thank you" during a month created for many of our hardest workers, merci doubled-down at Walmart. The Paradox team partnered with the merci brand and sales team to create heartwarming connectivity during unprecedented times by bringing customizable covers to Walmart.com.  Now shoppers get more than premium chocolate, they are creating memories, messages, and moments of joy at times when it mattered most.

The solution.

By repositioning the brand's original Mother's Day idea to a broader audience, the team was able to pivot to a more timely message. A more actionable "say thanks" approach echoed the tenor of the moment and offered shoppers an easy, everyday way to show gratitude for all the important people in their lives. With the development of an easy user experience which included video content for an emotional touch and value-added product information, the online engagement was elevated in only a few quick weeks.
